Comment: I am actually happy for Ms. Biles! I think what she did was brave and also showed the world that it’s okay to prioritize yourself! Yes. Prioritizing yourself does not mean you are selfish. Ms. Biles has consistently shown over the last 8 years that she is a giving person; having given the world her talents and also the wisdom of a young athlete that ultimately influenced several generations of gymnasts and athletes alike. And being a women of color, it’s time that people realize that we are people.
